We have found that many physician recruitment projects are taken on, and worked using traditional methods and advertising media. In direct contrast to what has been industry standard, which often relies heavily on the use of direct mail, we have, to an extent, diversified from that.

Direct mail advertising can be, and often is, very effective. One of the problems with physician recruitment however, arises when a firm, or more specifically at times, a search consultant, relies heavily on direct mail advertising as a means to complete their search. That is not the protocol or policy set forth at Assurgent Medical Solutions.

We have taken time to analyze the market, and understand that different physician demographics, respond to different types of marketing media. Some do respond more heavily to direct mail, some however respond better to the cold call. Many of the younger generation of physicians respond more heavily to email and faxing. The point of this is: we don't know until we begin the search.

Our process plans for the X factor, and behind the scenes we work diligently to grow, update, and maintain the largest database of physician contact information available. We have over 700,000 physicians in our database of alternative contact information, such as cellular telephone numbers, email addresses, and fax numbers. This constant maintenance, utilized in conjunction with direct marketing/mail campaigns and the personal interview of the physicians we are working with, catapults us to one of the most successful firms in the industry.
